TRAINING UNITS
These units are a combination of four taught days and your own independent study. These units focus on different aspects of using Assistive Technology for communication and learning. The cost of these units is £600 each.
Augmentative & Alternative Communication Unit
ACCREDITED TRAINING AWARDS
We deliver the following awards which are accredited by Manchester Metropolitan University.
Level 5 Certificate in Professional Studies Stage 1 Inclusive Education (Assistive Technology)
Level 6 Certificate in Professional Studies Inclusive Education (Assistive Technology)
Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Special Educational Needs (Assistive Technology)
Following completion of the Postgraduate Certificate in SEN (Assistive Technology) it may be possible to transfer to a Postgraduate Diploma in SEN at Manchester Metropolitan University. For further information, please contact Sara Dale, email: sdale@ace-north.org.uk

DAY COURSES
We offer full and half day courses to further your knowledge and skills in using Assistive Technology for communication and learning. Our courses demonstrate the hardware and software technologies available and strategies for the successful implementation of such systems.
BESPOKE TRAINING TO MEET YOUR NEEDS
We can provide full and half day courses to meet your specific requirements. These can be hosted at ACE Centre North or at a venue of your choice.
