FC United teams up with ACE Centre North

FC United have teamed up with ACE Centre North as a charity partner for the 2011 Minithon, a run, walk or crawl 5K event which will take place in Chorlton, South Manchester on a Sunday in late October. The Minithon promises to be a great day out in Chorlton Meadows and Chorlton Irish Club. You can race or jog with the players or stroll around the course at your own pace. FC United of Manchester is a community football club owned and democratically run by its 2,000-plus members. Its corporate structure is a Community Benefit Society and membership is open to all, with everyone an equal co-owner, holding one voting share in the club. The club was founded in 2005 and is a semi-professional football club, currently playing in the Northern Premier League.
