AAC Evidence of Need Questionnaire

A questionnaire to establish the need for Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems in you Local Area.

Rochdale CAP Team Presentation

As one of the earlier regions to establish a local CAP team, Rochdale have provided this Powerpoint Presentation which illustrates Case Studies and examples of how they have mangaged the project.

It's Time to Start Talking

Following the group discussions which took place at the CAP regional Network Day we have a Powerpoint Presentation 'Its time to start talking' for teams to use and adapt, making the case for the need to support the CAP work. Aimed at budget holders and policy makers in Local Authorities. The file is 2mb so may take a little time to download!

The Blue Skies Project - DCCAP

The Blue Skies Project sets out to raise awareness of how ICT can be used to develop the language and communication skills of deaf pupils. The Blue Skies website will be a great resource for all teachers of the deaf as well as other professionals involved in the education of deaf pupils.

Supporting Comunication through AAC

This is a freely downloadable resource containing 12 modules which aim to help parents, teachers and other professionals to support individuals who may benefit from using AAC.
